Using the Dataset Part Validation utility

Select ( Dataset Part Validation Utility) from the ribbon.
The Validate Datasets dialog opens.
In the Validate settings, check the items to be validated. Turn on Report Null Parts for Compound Cell library files being validated, to know if there are Null Parts (cell components) having no family or part assignments. This setting insures that null parts are included in the Dataset Validation Reports.
Click OK to create the Dataset Validation Reports.
A text window opens to display the number of missing parts, the directory locations of the Dataset Validation Reports, and the file names of the Dataset Validation Reports.

Part Conflicts are also reported in the dialog.

The conflict report opens in a text editor.
